Students Recognized in CMS Poetry Contest
Congratulations to the following students who were recognized for their poetry in the 19th Annual Charlotte Miller Simon Poetry Contest in the Children’s and Teen Divisions:
Children's Division
1st Place: "A Plea for Our Place," by Riya Srinivasan ’31
Honorable mention: "The Young Blue Jay," by Alaina Sharma ’31
Honorable mention: "Look Around,” by Vivian Brown ’33
Teen Division
1st Place: "The Park," by Emi Maeda ’25
3rd Place: "Breathe," by Sarah Tarka ’28
Honorable mention: "Backstage," by Caroline Fenton ’25
The winning poets are invited to read their poems to the audience at a Poetry Celebration on March 10 at Lower Merion Township Administration Building.
